2007 Louis M. Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Valley is probably the most well known American wine region by even the non-drinkers. Every year millions of tourists from all over the world comes here for fine wine and dine. The climate here is excellent for the late ripen Cabernet Sauvignon and the Cabs here are indeed world class.

In the heart of Napa Valley AVA, there is the St. Helena AVA. This is one of the largest districts that include some of the biggest wineries in the nation as well as some of the finest cult wine producers. Louis M. Martini is also one of the great wineries from this region.

I bought this wine from a local grocery store (there might be a bottle near you also….. XD….. ).  This is a very fabulous wine. It is still very young and needs about an hour or so even after being decanted. It will definitely taste better for years to come. It has the very intense aromas of blackcurrant , blackberry , plum and wood.  The taste is also very concentrated with layers of fruity sensation followed by a long finish. This is truly a wonderful wine.

DWA Rating :  8.5 ……..Excellent. Must try.
