This wine is a wine from Rutherford AVA, Napa Valley. This district is known for high-end fabulous Cabernets Sauvignon. This wine is partly steel tank and partly barrel fermented. The prior is to preserve the fruit flavor and the latter for richness and complexity.
From the noise it give out aromas of citrus, green apple, some floral hint, some earthy note and a little bit of oak. On the palate, it is slitely buttery with good juiciness and minerality. The acidity is flavorful but not overpowering which kept the wine at a very good balance. The finish is long and with a twist of nuttiness.
For this price($16), this wine is a real bargain.
DWA rating: 8.0/10………… Recommended. Great price for the Quality.
