After trying the 2004 Trimbach Cuvee Frederic Emile Riesling, I kind of want to visit a traditional Alsace Riesling. This 2008 Trimbach Riesling is also from the Ribeauville. Both of them have very similar aroma and taste.
This Riesling is also medium bodied and yellow in color. From the nose, it has acidity notes of lemon and grapefruit and also some hints of pepper. This Riesling is very dry but also very fruitful. The acidity maybe a bit over powering and it also has some mineral taste. The finish is about 10~15 second. It is a wine made to be consumed young.
DWA rating: 7/10…….It is an enjoyable wine.
